Cut in small batches. Made for living.
Atelier Noir began in Lagos with a singular conviction: clothing should adapt to the wearer, not the other way around. We reject mass overproduction, choosing instead to craft limited drops, work with artisanal weavers and dyers across Nigeria, and keep every stage of pattern cutting and stitching in-house.
Ancestral Dyes Meets Contemporary Silhouette
Our Adire edit is born from hand-carved wooden blocks and cassava paste resists dipped repeatedly into organic fermented indigo pits in Abeokuta. Every bolt of fabric carries subtle variations in tone that make each shirt, dress, and tunic completely unrepeatable.
Our denim is woven from heavy unwashed Nigerian-spun cotton, finished with selvedge edges and double-needle felled seams that soften over years of wear, developing custom crease patterns unique to your life.
